this is nice post!
Thanks this helped. I have a Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse my midlde click stopped opening links in a new tab and was working as a Back button (quite an annoying difference!).Reading your post, I assigned Generic Button and clicked Apply didn’t help, but then I assigned Other Middle Click again (as it was) and hit Apply and it returned to functioning normally! Thanks I was thinking it was caused by a Firefox Add On or a setting in Firefox about:config but it was the Logitech setting that I freshly re-applied that got it working again. Without your post, I wouldn’t have thought to do that!
