The Hunt for Singapore’s Next Social Travel Star

AsiaRooms.com is looking for Savvy travellers who love to share their tips, advice, and reviews on their travel destinations (and Hotel Rooms).

If you find yourself inspecting Every Detail of the Hotel Room the moment you check in, (the size of the bed, the plushness of the pillows, brands of the toiletries, or what’s in the mini-bar), you can be glad that you’re not alone.

Based on the AsiaRooms.com survey of over 1,200 respondents in April, 2011, one out of three Singaporeans believes that the Hotel Room can make or break the trip. The right room can make the trip more meaningful, memorable and enjoyable.

AsiaRooms.com, the leading accommodation site, is launching a casting call, to find Singapore’s next Social Travel Stars – a pair of Travel Hosts, who will travel and review Twelve Unique Hotels across Four Countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand) and a chance to win S$10,000 worth of Cash and Prizes for the winning team.

Step 1: Find a Friend, a team mate who will be with you in this adventure if your team wins
Step 2: Submit a 3 minute (or less) Video starring yourself, and the the friend in your house, your nice bed room, or a Hotel Room, telling the viewers why and how the room is right for you.

Deadline for video submission is on 11 April 2012. The top five submissions will be shortlisted after the preliminary rounds, and the public will be able to vote via Facebook for their favourite video. The Winner will be announced on 24 April 2012.
