Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 To Be Launched In Second Quarter 2013

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Note 8) was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2013 (MWC 2013) in Barcelona, with an expected launch date in the second quarter of this year.

Measuring at 8.3 inches by 5.4 inches, this 8 inch “phablet” (A term used for a gadget larger than a smartphone but smaller than a tablet) includes the S Pen stylus, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy Note 10.1

  • 2 Gb Ram with 32 or 64 Gb internal Storage
  • microSDXC support
  • 4600 mAh Battery
  • 1280 x 800 pixel TFT Display
  • Smart Phone Functions (3G)
  • Weighs 338 grams
  • Stylus
  • Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (or 4.2 ?)
  • Multi-Window
  • Reading (e-Reader) Mode
  • Smart Remote







 
Pricing info is not released yet, but it is speculated to cost slightly more than the new iPad mini.
